Bolia.com is a company that sells modern furniture by leveraging a unique business concept to seamlessly integrate physical retail stores with e-commerce. As the financial crisis roared into the Nordics consumers desire to invest in the category dropped dramatically. As a consequence, the company developed a new strategy: leveraging elements from the contemporary art and fashion scene. Between 2010 – 2016 revenue increased by 256% and profits went from a negative 3.5m € to positive 8.9m €.
